Meet the BioTek WaterGardener Series

Need a custom filtration solution for your specialty pond project?

The above is a custom filtration system designed for one of Quality Koi's customers.

It includes the Medusa dual headed filter with 2 WunderFlo pumps, prefiltration through 2 Vortek SS, a 9 cu. ft. Medusa designed to use 9 cu. ft. of Kaldness type media for extra bio and then flow back to the pond through 2 High Intensity Zapp Pure UV's. All of this preplumbed at our place and shipped to its destination.

Below is a custom system designed by Macarthur Watergardens (www.macarthurwatergardens.com) for
Mark W. of Temecula, Ca. and built to their specs for the specific needs of his pond. It is a Medusa Mashimizu with the addition of an AquaSieve to aid in heavy solids removal. This is just one example of how we can "tweak" a system to fit the needs of you and your pond.

The Medusa is a 9.0 cu. ft. model that uses 2 multiport valves instead of one. Why? In the past if you had a large pond the only way to turn it over in the traditional every hour or two turnover that we strive to achieve meant installing multiple filters with energy efficient pumps or 1 large filter with an energy hawg pool pump to get the turnover we need. The Medusa answers the problem with the ability to run two energy efficient pumps on one filter.
