Meet the coolest thing to come to the pond industry in quite some time

The MultiCyclone 50
Solids Separator Pre-Filter

Ease filter workload

MultiCyclone pre-filters up to 80% of the filter’s incoming dirt load easing the workload of the pond filter.

As the MultiCyclone intercepts more and more dirt, the flow rate remains unchanged.

 Improves pond water circulation

Enhancing the performance of the pond filtration system

Allows effective pond vacuuming without burdening the pond filter

Minimizes filter maintenance and saves water

No filter media to clean or replace

Suitable for new and existing installations

2 year warranty

Absolutely the best device ever made for use with pressurized systems.

Keeps the dirt out of the filter and allows the filter to do what it really would like to do and that is to focus on solubles instead of solids

For the best of all worlds use the Vortek SS Delux to catch the larger solids prior to the pump as shown in the pic below

Easily added to any existing system as it mounts on top of the pump and doesn't increase the foot print of the filtration system

Minimum flow rate 13 GPM up to a max of 132 GPM and the faster you flow the water the better it removes the solids which is just the opposite of more conventional settlement chambers.

Here's what a MultiCyclone looks like mounted on an Artesian Pro Pump and plumbed to a typical pressurized type filter

See below for a pic of the MultiCyclone added to a GC Tek Mashimizu AlphaONE LH System

Let's take a minute to walk thru the above system as water would travel on its journey through the system.
1st the water would enter the lower fitting on the Vortek SS Delux where all of the larger debris would be stopped by the Media Balls which act as baffles to separate the solids as they travel upward in the prefilter.
2nd the water which has had the larger debris removed by the Vortek SS Delux flows to one of our energy efficient pumps including some variable speed pumps.
Upon leaving the pump the water would flow in the MultiCyclone 50 prefilter which has the ability to remove up to 80% of separated solids by centrifugal separation.
At this time the water now is entering the AlphaONE LH filter with most of the solids removed. This makes for one happy filter since it can now focus on its main concern and that is biological filtration and in catching the finest solids. By using the combo of prefilters before the filter we have allowed the filter to function at its maximum capacity.
Lastly upon leaving the filter the water makes it"s way to the High Intensity Zapp Pure UV for a final step in water purification.
That's the way it works with this system.

It doesn't get better than this. Your fish will love you for going the extra mile to give them the best possible environment in which to live.
If you are ordering any one of the GC Tek complete filtration systems the MultiCyclone can be added at the time we build one of these systems just for you and your pond.
